These polypropylene centrifuge tubes have leak-proof, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) caps that are hinged to keep them safely with the tube. The caps are easy to flip open and closed with just one hand. Bold black graduations along the centrifuge tube side are easy to read and accurate to ±2%. A large, frosted marking area allows for permanent sample identification and is keep-from-happeningant to alcohol wiping. Used for the storage, operation, and centrifugation of mid-volume samples, these conical-bottom, polypropylene (PP) tubes are compatible with any fixed angle or swing bucket rotor and have a MAX RCF (maximum relative centrifugal force) of 9,400 x g. They can withstand temperatures from -80 °C (-112 °F) to 121 °C (250 °F). Packaged in resealable bags of 25 per bag, they are DNase/RNase-free, nonpyrogenic, and conform to USP Class VI standards.
