ASP OC (pepper spray) Defenders were originally designed for police officers and security guards, for plain clothes or off duty use. The unit is O-ring sealed for safety. Operating the Defender requires 2 distinct operations to prevent accidental discharge: release the safety and press the solid brass actuator, and the Defender sends a cloud of potent irritant 3 to 5 feet away, giving you time to get away from trouble. Each insert provides 6 half-second bursts. A Heat (OC) insert is included with your purchase, Test (inert) practice inserts are available separately.
